Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before accessing or using the software platform, creator admin dashboards, white-label student portals, mobile applications, and APIs provided by CourseSpire ("CourseSpire", "we", "us").
By creating an account, subscribing to a platform plan, or embedding CourseSpire infrastructure into your teaching academy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
To register an academy or creator account on CourseSpire, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 or the applicable laws of your jurisdiction.
If you are signing up on behalf of an educational institute, coaching center, university, or corporate entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the full legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Platform Services Overview
CourseSpire provides an all-in-one software-as-a-service (SaaS) operating system designed for educators, instructors, coaching academies, and creators. Services include:
- Multi-Format Course Studio: Upload, transcode, and deliver Video, PDF, Audio, and Interactive Quizzes.
- 100% White-Label Android App: Custom native Android app compilation published under your developer identity.
- AI WhatsApp Sales Agent: Autonomous lead nurturing, syllabus inquiries, and cart checkout recovery via official Meta Cloud API.
- Interactive Live Classes & Webinars: Ultra-low latency LiveKit video classrooms with cloud recording and broadcast modes.
- Lead CRM & Automated Sequences: Student enrollment tracking, WhatsApp broadcast sequences, and affiliate marketing engines.
3. Subscription Plans, Billing & 1-Year Price Lock Guarantee
CourseSpire offers tiered subscription packages: Free (Launchpad), Starter, Growth, and Pro / Enterprise, billed on either a Monthly or Annual cadence.
1-Year Price Lock Guarantee Policy:
When CourseSpire increases catalog subscription rates as the platform adds new features, existing subscribers are protected under our 1-Year Price Lock Guarantee. Your monthly or annual subscription rate and commission structure are guaranteed not to increase for at least 12 consecutive months from your subscription start date.
A. Future Pricing Adjustments & Server Cost Revisions:
CourseSpire reserves the right to adjust or increase standard catalog subscription plan prices in the future — particularly when required by rising underlying infrastructure expenses, including third-party cloud server hosting, video transcoding, CDN bandwidth, DRM licensing, or cloud storage costs.
Crucially, any such price increases will NEVER affect active subscribers during their Price Lock term. As an active subscriber, your subscription fee remains 100% locked and unchanged for the full 12 consecutive months under our 1-Year Price Lock Guarantee. Any revised pricing will only apply to new incoming subscribers or upon renewal after your 1-year price-lock period concludes (with advance written notice).
B. Add-ons & Overages:
Need extra storage, bandwidth, or WhatsApp wallet credits? Creators can purchase top-ups self-serve in the admin dashboard (e.g., +100 GB Cloudflare R2 storage, +50 Live Class Hours, WhatsApp conversation wallet). Top-up charges are billed immediately to your card on file.
4. Payment Gateways, Commissions & Same-Day Payouts
CourseSpire champions creator autonomy by routing payments directly to the creator:
- Direct Gateway Payouts: Powered by Cashfree auto-split. When a student purchases your course, the funds are deposited directly into your verified bank account on Cashfree's standard settlement cycle (typically T+1 or same-day in India).
- 0% Platform Commission: On our Growth and Pro/Enterprise plans, CourseSpire takes 0% cut of your course revenue. You keep 100% of sales minus your chosen gateway's standard merchant processing charges (typically ~2%).
- Free Tier Platform Fee: Free (Launchpad) plans are subject to a 7% platform fee per course sale to offset infrastructure hosting costs.
- Taxes: Creators are solely responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) or regional sales taxes on courses sold to students.
5. 100% Content Ownership & Intellectual Property Rights
A. Creator Retains Full Copyright:
You retain 100% ownership and copyright over all video lessons, PDF materials, assessments, curriculum designs, logos, and trademarks uploaded to your academy. CourseSpire claims zero proprietary interest or distribution rights over your content.
B. Limited Hosting License:
You grant CourseSpire a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely to transcode, store on Cloudflare R2, and securely stream your media files to your authorized enrolled students as directed by your dashboard settings.
6. Acceptable Use Policy & Content Restrictions
You agree not to upload, publish, or transmit content that:
- Infringes any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secrets.
- Promotes hate speech, violence, harassment, obscenity, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Facilitates illegal academic cheating, unauthorized examination paper leaks, or impersonation fraud.
- Distributes malware, trojans, phishing links, or unauthorized network scanning utilities.
CourseSpire reserves the right to immediately suspend accounts found in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice.
7. Anti-Piracy & DRM Enforcement
Our Platform incorporates industry-grade anti-piracy mechanisms including dynamic forensic watermarking, screen recording detection, and encrypted HLS chunk delivery.
- Learners attempting to reverse-engineer, capture, rip, or redistribute video streams using third-party download tools will have their sessions terminated and IP addresses blacklisted.
- Creators can request forensic investigation logs if their watermarked video appears on unauthorized file-sharing websites.
8. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Platform Uptime
CourseSpire targets an operational uptime of 99.98% across our core video streaming, student login, and payment processing infrastructure.
Scheduled maintenance is conducted during low-traffic windows (typically 02:00 AM – 04:00 AM IST) with advance notification sent to academy administrators via dashboard announcements and email.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We believe in honest, creator-first partnerships:
- 7-Day Risk-Free Trial: New paid subscribers are entitled to a full refund within the first 7 calendar days if CourseSpire does not meet their academy's technical requirements.
- Cancel Anytime: You can cancel your subscription renewal at any moment via your Billing settings. Your access continues until the end of your prepaid billing period with zero cancellation penalties.
- Data Export on Exit: If you choose to leave, you have 30 days to export your full student rosters, test logs, and video catalogs before data archive.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
